The University of Georgia Press
Georgia History Ebook Project—
A Collaboration with the Digital Library of Georgia

Early and seminal works on Georgia’s history and culture, many published in the 1950s and 1960s that have long been out of print, will be made accessible online. There will also be an option of purchasing these tittles in printed form. Books in the Georgia History Ebook Project will be of interest to two main groups: historians and general readers of Georgia history. Included in the project are works by historians such as E. Merton Coulter and Kenneth Coleman, both faculty emeriti of the University of Georgia.

Based at the University of Georgia Libraries, the Digital Library of Georgia is an initiative of GALILEO, the state's virtual library. Visit the Digital Library of Georgia’s website to view titles available as free downloadable PDFs.

Read more about each title on their individual book pages. From the book page, you can buy a print version of the book using our shopping cart, or scroll over the "Check eBook availability" link to navigate to a free downloadable PDF hosted at the Digital Library of Georgia.
